Looking at the current scenario of telecom businesses around the globe, the telecom industry has gained great popularity especially since the last decade. The telecom operators and telecom product vendors have applied various innovative techniques in terms of their business processes, products offered, and other aspects to gain competitive advantage over one another and as a result the telecom operators have been able to produce products and services that are the need of hour and they are successfully meeting the need, want, demand with supply ratio through various strategies.
Even though when considered on general products, the price war is never good, and it usually results in decreased quality of the product, but considering the scenario of telecommunication globally, even in the period of recession when various telecom operators indulged into the price war they retained their quality and managed to generate good profitability with increased customers. The telecommunication scenario within Middle East and Asia is not much different with the global scenario, as the market has also performed well over here even during recession. The business community in particular has gained great advantages due to the utilization of technology, and today every organization relies heavily on its communication strength. Organizations that do not have good communication infrastructure often do not prove to retain their competitive advantage. Although the ban on black berry mobiles due to its incapability of decryption of messages through BlackBerry messenger has given a drastic setback to the corporate people, but still other vendors like iPhone, Nokia and Samsung have avail this opportunity by launching similar products that are highly competent to BlackBerry Messenger and can become a good alternative to it.
However, success of these products cannot be forecasting exactly at this point of time, because the technology changes and there might some other technology that would overcome instant messaging in cellular phones in near future.
